Hurry Up Hustlers: three Week 6 picks
Numbers don't lie, fellas. Three plays this week.
1. Panthers +1.5 at Eagles
- Philly hasn't cracked 250 yards in three straight games, and that's with Hurts. Now Hurts and Saquon both missed practice.
- Carolina is rested off a bye, and Bryce Young has turned it over once in three games.
- I'll gladly take points with the team whose quarterback can actually play.
What kills it: Hurts suits up.
2. Falcons +3.5 vs Bears
Atlanta's last three games: Week 3 35 pts, Week 4 45 pts, Week 5 23 pts
- Chicago just coughed it up five times at Lambeau, and Montez Sweat is suspended.
- Caleb's back, but he's missed three straight games, and rust is real.
- Hook on the 3, home dog, give me Atlanta.
What kills it: Caleb comes out sharp and Penix's ribs keep him from pushing it downfield.
3. Steelers -3 at Buccaneers
- Rodgers has thrown three touchdowns in three straight games. Tampa has topped 24 points once in that stretch.
- Mayfield's thumb has him off the practice field, so it's likely the rookie again.
- The line's already flipped 4.5 points, so the value's thinner here. I still trust the 41-year-old over the rookie. As a Browns fan, it hurts to back Pittsburgh.
What kills it: Mayfield gets cleared, or the Steelers D gives up 27 again.
