Power rankings after Week 2: all 32, and the Falcons are in trouble
Every team, 1 through 32, based on what's actually happened in two weeks. Records in gray, reasoning underneath.
Most points scored through two weeks: Bills 77 pts, Panthers 71 pts, Chiefs 64 pts, Bears 62 pts, 49ers 62 pts, Lions 62 pts
Fewest points allowed: Patriots 16 pts, Seahawks 17 pts, 49ers 20 pts, Vikings 25 pts, Bengals 33 pts, Eagles 42 pts
77 points in two games and five Josh Allen touchdowns on Thursday. Nobody's been better.
Purdy went 20 of 22 and they hung 21 in one quarter. The 27-7 win over the Rams looks even better now.
Two wins with a backup quarterback because the defense has allowed 17 points total.
Undefeated, but they needed overtime at home against an 0-2 team and gave up 523 yards to Indy.
Survived Washington by two and Tennessee by four with 14 seconds left. Winning ugly counts.
Beat Green Bay 39-22, then won 9-3 without scoring a touchdown. The defense travels.
Four fourth-down stops and a shutout of Houston's end zone. The defense is the story, not Burrow.
Kirk Cousins has three touchdowns and Ashton Jeanty looks like a problem. 2-0 on the road.
Seven points in Australia, then 481 yards and 28 on Monday night. Believe the second one.
31 points in both games. The defense has given up 72, which is the issue.
Hung 41 on Indy, then lost at home to a rookie quarterback's fourth-quarter drive.
37 points and four Dak touchdowns after getting run over by the Giants in Week 1.
Held Pittsburgh to 3 and have allowed 16 points all season. Maye's the concern.
Gave up 59, then gave up 3 and forced five turnovers. Biggest swing in football.
Down 10 in the fourth in New Jersey and won in overtime, with 14 penalties.
Got run off the field by KC, then scored the last 17 in Jacksonville.
Blew out Cleveland, then Trevor Lawrence threw for 189 with no touchdowns.
59 points, then 3. Somewhere in the middle is the real team.
Beat Tampa as an 8.5-point underdog, and did it running for 44 yards.
An overtime loss and a road upset in Baltimore. Tyler Shough is the real find of the year so far.
Physical win in Tennessee, then led by 10 in the fourth and lost in overtime.
Beat Dallas behind the run game, then ran for 52 yards and scored 6 on Monday night.
Beat the Chargers 26-14, then managed 151 yards against Seattle.
Beat Atlanta on defense, then never reached the end zone in New England.
Outplayed Cincinnati and lost, then lost at home to Cleveland. Four fumbles in Week 1 started it.
Took KC to overtime on the road and lost. Best 0-2 team in the league, but they gave up 41 and 33.
Two home losses, two Herbert picks in the second one. Not what they paid for.
Threw it 56 times against Cincinnati with zero touchdowns to show for it.
Lost to Philly by two, then got run off by Dallas. 0-2 in the division already.
Cam Ward has run in three touchdowns and nearly beat the Eagles. The record's the only bad part.
Thirteen points in each game and a 22-point loss in San Francisco.
Three points, five turnovers, and zero red zone trips against Carolina. Rock bottom.
Three things the list says
- The 2-0 teams aren't equal. Buffalo and San Francisco have looked dominant. Kansas City needed overtime against an 0-2 team.
- Defense is carrying everybody early. New England has allowed 16 points and Seattle 17, and both are winning games their offenses didn't earn.
- 0-2 doesn't mean bad. Indianapolis and Tennessee both played better than their records. Atlanta and Miami did not.
